Nightlife
In Brighton - Pubs, Clubs, Bars & More To Explore On Your Visit To
Brighton...
A city which compares every bit to
thriving cities like London is bound to have a great selection of pubs, clubs
and more – and the Brighton Nightlife does not disappoint. It’s one of the
reasons that Brighton is regarded as one of the trendiest cities in the United
Kingdom and why it’s so popular with the hen and stag crowd. There are also a
number of gay clubs located in and around the Kemp Town area.
Pop into Concorde 2 which is
based along Madeira Drive for the chance to see various live bands. There’s
often a lot of indie music played here if you like it.
Some of the best cocktails in the
whole of Brighton & Hove are made in Blanche House (Kemp Town). The
bar is actually a hotel one, but the cocktails though pricey are really out of
this world.
The Bar With No Name
is a very popular choice of bar/pub with locals and travelers alike. It’s
located on Southover Street.
A nice, friendly pub is the Setting
Sun Pub on Windmill Street – the comfy sofas and relaxed atmosphere is the
perfect place to chill with a few drinks after a days travel.
Some of the more interesting clubs in
Brighton include the Honey Club (Kings Rd), Joogleberry
(Manchester Street) and Oceans Room (Morley St). Right on the Ocean (turn
into West Street from Kings Road) you also have Creation Nightclub.
Those that enjoy theatre and cinema
also have good choices. The Art Deco Brighton Dome is very close to the Royal
Pavilion and is the biggest theatre in Brighton & Hove. Other interesting
choices are the Komedia Theatre and Theatre Royal. Finally, there’s the Odeon
Cinema for your usual Hollywood movies.
